A New “Old” Path

By Patrick Hawthorne

For those following my blog, or me following theirs – whichever it may be – you may have noticed that my time spent reading, writing, and responding have been slim pickings at best. No, it is not because I have become weary in our writing propinquity (whatever that really means.)  Seriously, who invented some of these words?  Does that word even fit?  It does mean relationship to nearness…doesn’t it?

Any who… I have not given up the writing scene, nor have I abandoned all of you, my blogging friends.  It is simply that the Lord has put me back on a new “old” path that I had been removed from for about four years.  This is the teaching path.

I won’t get into all the details of why I was sat down for those years, but it was one of the best things that could have happened to me.  During the time I learned grace, mercy, compassion, and a host of other things we – the Body of Christ – should know.  And, of course, I met many of you.

With that said – or written – I am still around and have not abandoned you.  As a matter of fact, I am currently pondering a scorching chastisement upon the offended of the world.   Ok, not really, but it sounded good.  Be blessed.
