Saying Goodbye

To all those whom I follow and to those who follow me through blogs, I have been a bit distracted by the recent death of my Dad-in-Law (PawPaw).  Today, I will be leading his home going ceremony. Let me tell you, it is a beautiful and sunny day, which is odd this close to Christmas.  Thank You, Jesus!  Pawpaw, like me, hates the cold.

During this Christmas season, and all to come, cherish those whom God has placed in your life.  You may have your disagreements, but keep the big picture in mind which is, life on this earth is short and our time together is to be cherished.

…Oh, and don’t forget to smile.  I forbid any Grinch’s this year, ya hear?

Be blessed, my friends.  Merry Christmas!

I am happy that he had his loving family around him during his last days. Please take heart and all the best to you and your family. Blessed love.

Sorry for your loss. What a reminder that life is short. Just curious…are you guys from Louisiana? I’ve only heard people from Louisiana who use “Paw Paw” but I might be ignorant…

  10. God bless you and your family, Patrick. I’ve been praying for you and I know God will give you the comfort you need right now. When sorrow and joy are braided together around eternal life it produces unfailing hope. May God wrap all of you in the awareness of His presence and the knowledge of seeing your dad again soon.
